Back in 2019, I was lucky enough to receive development funding from Magic Leap to explore how my concept, Little Wonder, could come to life in the "Metaverse." With an incredible team by my side, we dove headfirst into the possibilities of spatial computing, crafting a bold, five-minute mixed reality experience - built in just 15 weeks.

We pushed the hardware to its limits, creating original art, animation, music, and some truly wild dev wizardry. Working hand-in-hand with Magic Leap’s developers and stakeholders, we put their SDK through its paces - experimenting with head and eye tracking, hand gesture recognition, frustum placement, graphic thresholds, and occlusion solutions.

Our goal was to explore how narrative could dynamically interact with an audience in spatial space, so we packed the demo full of juicy features: particle-based spatial design, positional audio, an IK system, string-and-balloon physics, live mic input, and surface recognition. Yes, it was as ambitious and a blast! .

The project eventually morphed into Magic Leap’s official Holiday Card—but the original concept runs much deeper. We wrote the full Little Wonder experience, and I’d love to share it with you sometime.
